Why People
Come to Us

Most homeowners we speak to are not just looking for someone to carry out the work. They want to know the project will be handled properly.

Common concerns are:

Will the costs stay under control?
Will the work run on time?
Will the finish be as expected?
Will I be left chasing people?

These are all reasonable concerns, and they are exactly what we focus on solving.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently used Chris James Building Services for work on our home after a recommendation from a relative who had used them in the past. The works we had completed were for both inside and outside our property and involved different trades.
We received great communication from Chris throughout the process and a clear competitive quote. The works were completed to a high standard by tradesmen who were polite, friendly and respectful of our home. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Chris and his team.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a leak in my roof and some broken and misplaced tiles. It was all taken care of. Very happy with the work. I would contact Chris again if I had another problem.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot fault Chris and his team and would highly recommended. They have transformed a very tatty porch (single skin, metal windows, sagging roof) into a very smart utility. The workmanship is to the highest standard at a reasonable cost. All trades came as agreed, were polite, tidy and professional, going above and beyond where necessary (with a tricky round window & second hand door to fit!), leaving no mess whatsoever. A joy to work with.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Has some minor stud walls installed. They were on time and speedy. Left everything clean at end of everyday. Kept me up to date on progress and informed of one v minor delay of a day with plastering. Finish is good quality and I have had no issues at all with work. Will use again if I ever need any building work done.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chris and his team recently built a one storey extension and installed a new kitchen in our home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all his team were polite, helpful and conscientious.
Their work was to a high standard and they were also tidy, clearing up at the end of each day.
We will happily work with Chris and his team again in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an extension built by Chris
and his team. They were a pleasure to have around and were always polite and respectful. The site was left tidy at the end of each evening which made things a lot easier. We were really pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend Chris & his team, and will be using him again for our next project.
